Mark A. Porter, Of Counsel

Mr. Porter has extensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, and opinion work (design-around, validity, infringement), copyright, and licensing and other IP agreements.

Mr. Porter has a B.S. Mechanical Engineering with minors in physics and electronics, a J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School, and is a registered patent attorney.

Mr. Porter worked in private practice for ten years, becoming a partner at Ipsolon LLP before working as corporate counsel for Mentor Graphics Corporation (EDA software) and Nautilus, Inc. (design and manufacture of consumer goods). Mr. Porter was also an adjunct professor of law at Lewis & Clark Law School for a corporate and intellectual property internship seminar. Mr. Porter is on the Board of Directors of Growing Gardens a non-profit promoting organic urban gardens and food education.
